We are holding an interactive event to celebrate 100 years of International Women’s Day (8th March 2011).
The event will take place on Saturday 5th March in Chapter Arts Centre foyer, from 11am-4pm. The ‘Inspiring Women’ event will encourage people to think of women who have inspired them – from their local communities and from any part of their lives - and to tell their stories in messages and pictures, which will be displayed in Chapter’s foyer for a week.
All are welcome to take part – we will be at the event on 5th March, and people can add to the display anytime until 12th March by going to Chapter, emailing or texting us, leaving comments on the blog, or joining the conversation on twitter.
Following the event, we will share all the messages and artwork on this blog so everyone can get to know Cardiff’s Inspiring Women.
